Comparing the Recession to the Great Depression

Unemployment
25% people lost there jobs in the 1930's but now that bad in the 2000's it is 10%.

People
Something that is the same in people is the bank problems and closures. A different is communicator cell phones today.

My Conclusions
You can compare the 1930's and the Depression era because in the 30's many people lost their jobs as are many losing jobs today. Although the numbers are different, it feels the same.
